FIGHT HONOUR FIGHT
A British Wrestling Action Drama Film
FIGHT HONOUR FIGHT is a feature-length action drama which draws inspiration from Sylvester Stallone's iconic Rocky series, and harnessing the gripping intensity of The Wrestler, combined with the adrenaline-pumping excitement of Warrior.
The film pays homage to the larger-than-life athletes of the 80s wrestling era, right through to the intense Monday Night Wars of the 90s. With plenty of in-ring action, the film showcases the raw power of British grapple wrestling, the art of Japanese Strong Style and the very best of European independent wrestling.

A tale of two strangers from completely different worlds who become best friends to bitter enemies, immersed in the world of professional wrestling

Story
A formidable Japanese wrestler (Ona, pronounced Honour) ventures to the UK, driven by the urgent need to secure a future for his beloved daughter in his homeland. Enter "Sikh" Sid, a seasoned British-Indian wrestler who takes him under his wing, but the Japanese wrestler is not all he claims to be.
Ona is actually an Australian conman who’s never wrestled a day in his life. His fight training comprises of school yard and Aussie pub bar room fights.
After convincing Sid to train him, the two embark on the British wrestling circuit as a grappling-hardcore tag-team but Ona loves Sid's life so much, he takes it over. Ona takes Sid's house, his girlfriend and his job. Even his dog.
Full of twists and turns, a movie full of continual one-upmanship which takes audiences on an emotional ride to see who will survive at the end.

Ona wants Sid’s girlfriend, his house and his job and the Aussie is moving in on more than what Sid originally bargained for.
There is only one place that the Aussie and the Brit can settle their score. Not on the cricket field. But in the ring.

Ona "Honour"
Japanese strong style wrestler Ona “Honour” has come for respect, not only from the boys in the back but his baby daughter Kumiko as his baby’s mother refuses to let him visit her unless he can earn and send home some British pounds.

The gimmick is a soft-spoken Japanese strong-style wrestler who joins a British independent promotion but the reality is he's a quick-talking, wise-cracking Aussie hustler who's about to be the ultimate disruptor in this remote English town.

Sikh Sid
British-Indian grappling veteran Sikh Sid, who’s retirement plan was to one day open a wrestling school of his own with his long-time girlfriend Girlie, takes Ona under his wing, but soon finds out that Ona is not all that he claims to be.

"The Sikh One" is about to have his patience put to the test and will have to park his grappling repertoire and resort to going "hardcore".

Girlie
Real name Gertrude (but don't tell anyone!) was on her own path to pub-band rock star success until discovering her natural wrestling promo abilities and becoming the tag-team manager of her boyfriend Sikh Sid and the new "foreigner".

Her eyes start wondering to the new Aussie immigrant that’s moved into their house and maybe what she really needs is to escape and just get away from nowhere’s-ville UK... a beach holiday in Australia would really do the trick.
